Now
you can learn to write as you've always dreamed you could without
leaving the comfort of your home.
Writing the
Wave is an online writing workshop program proven to expand
the imagination, dissolve blocks, enhance productivity, build
confidence and maximize skills.

"My life took a surprising turn when I started
Elizabeth's online writing workshop program. I started writing for fun,
but it soon turned into an all consuming passion. In the past year and
a half I've completed two book-length collections of short stories,
started a novel, and been granted a merit scholarship at a prestigious
MFA program in creative writing. Elizabeth's online writing classes are
stimulating, nurturing, invigorating; in them I found what I needed to
grow professionally. I'll never be able to thank Elizabeth enough for
the start she's given me!" (Natasha Sarkissian)

Writing the
Wave is effective for all genres: poetry writing, fiction
writing, nonfiction writing and screenplay writing. It uses writing
exercises that teach you to break down the creative writing process
into component parts -- just the way a chemical compound can be broken
down into its basic elements. Step-by-step you learn to recombine those
parts for yourself, transforming fundamental principles of creativity
into concrete writing techniques you can use in your writing practice
for a lifetime. With each new assignment in this breakthrough online
writing course, you will produce a piece of writing, learn a new
concept, and acquire another writing tool.
|
"The
writing techniques I've learned through this online writing instruction
have awakened my muse. They've taught me not to fear the empty page."
(Vanessa Melter)
|
Writing the
Wave consists of 5-week segments you can take separately or
combine into an on-going, 20-week online writing class. Everyone starts
with PART ONE, but once you've taken that, you can "mix 'n match"
course segments (PART TWO, PART THREE, PART FOUR) to suit your needs
and convenience.
|
"The
exercises in Elizabeth's online writing courses called up memories and
experiences which seemed to appear out of nowhere but, in the end, had
their own logic, their own beauty. This helped me learn to write as
I've always dreamed I could, because my blocks came from too much
self-censorship, self-criticism, analysis, all that. I've been
empowered to let my creative forces loose." (Pascale Duclos)

With Writing
the Wave, you start with basic concepts: imaginative layering,
point of view, bonding with your audience. You develop a personal
style. You find your unique voice. You learn to get your ideas onto the
page effortlessly. Once your creative juices are flowing, this writing
course will show you how to use a unique cluster of problem-solving
skills to organize and structure your first drafts; how to jumpstart a
stalled work-in-progress. Next, you will learn a set of revision
techniques that will teach you to make your writing more expressive,
more powerful. The result? You'll move from inspiration to finished
form with an ease you didn't think possible.
|
"It's fun! It doesn't matter if you're a good writer
or a lousy writer, if you can spell, if you use good grammar or fancy
words -- the writing tools you get from these terrific online writing
classes help you develop ideas, see connections you've never seen
before and find your own voice. They teach you to appreciate what's
special about you and your writing. This online writing course has
given me a tremendous gift -- the joy I had as a child simply writing."

Your copy of Elizabeth's book, Writing
the Wave: Inspired Rides for Aspiring Writers is FREE
with your workshop registration.
2.
Each week for five weeks, you will receive an email writing assignment.
Assignments consist of exercises from the book, plus a series of
